Death Was the Only Thing Pete Seeger Couldn't Overcome

There was the House Un-American Activities Committee and then Bob Dylan left his folk roots behind for rock 'n' roll.  But Pete Seeger just kept on writing, collecting and singing America's songs. He lost his wife Toshi, of nearly 70 years, last July.  Today he joins her in song again; Pete Seeger, dead at 94.  -Janice T.

Russell Johnson, the Professor from Gilligan's Island, passed away on January 16, 2014.  Oh Professor, you were brilliant with what you could create with a  coconut but for all those smarts you never could figure out how to fix the S.S. Minnow.  Russell Johnson, dead at 89.

The Bulldozer is Buried

Ariel Sharon, former Israeli Prime Minister who has been comatose since January 4, 2006, finally passed away on January 11, 2014.  In his 85 years he made many friends and enemies.  In his death, he leaves four new friends who accurately predicted that he would no longer be occupying the hospital bed that he has called home for the past eight years.  Ariel Sharon, dead at 85.

The 2014 Game Is On!

Ronnie Biggs has died. Robbed a train, got caught, went to prison, escaped, lived on the lam for years bragging about his exploits, turned himself in, was released, died, all to wish a Merry Christmas to Cathy H! Ronald Arthur Biggs, dead at the age of 84. Read more HERE.

Do you believe in Miracles?!? Janice T. has scored, with a little help from a 5 point buck named Nelson Mandela. Unbelievably old, he defied incredible odds by dying while on her list.
