Fess Parker died yesterday at the age of 85. A legend among old and older alike, his trademark was his extreme versatility as an actor. Be it his portrayal of rugged frontiersman Davy Crockett, complete with coonskin cap, or his portrayal of rugged frontiersman Daniel Boone, complete with coonskin cap, Parker moved seamlessly from one role to the next.
